Today was the beginning for Week 2 -- Anatomy and Massage classes. Beautiful day and lots of learning. My head is full with all of this new information, need to sleep instead of blog. Will post reflections and some photos in a day or two.

Why "Finding Quiet"?
You may be wondering why a blog of a 2-month stint in Colorado to learn equine massage would be called "Finding Quiet"....well, I have to admit that there are many reasons that I am here, the obvious ones:
1) to learn a vocational skill to spin into a component of my massage practice;
2) to have an opportunity to work closely with horses.
Although, the other reasons are more aligned with the title of the blog:
3) to be in situations where I am pushed to learn to listen
a) to my intuition;
b) to my clients (which in this case will not have words to tell me what they think);
c) to everything around me.
So, although this is an opportunity for learning a new skill, I am also setting the intention for it to be an opportunity for personal discpline and spiritual growth.
